Chief Accountant

Job Description:

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for an " Chief Accountant " for our global business partner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related field
• Proficiency in Turkey GAAP and US GAAP required
• At least 4 years practical experience with month end, quarter end and year end reporting
• At least 4 years relevant experience in an international organization including experience in group & tax reporting
• Oracle knowledge and experience required
• Strong MS Office (especially MS Excel) knowledge required

Responsibilites

• Prepare month end, quarter end and year end close under Turkey GAAP & adjustments to US GAAP
• Prepare/monitors preparation of annual statutory reporting for entity
• Interact with Turkey auditors and tax consultants
• Complete/reviews monthly Turkey VAT declarations
• Responsible for monthly group reporting to USA headquarters
• Ad hoc reporting and respond to questions from USA headquarters
• Prepare/reviews monthly account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare periodic analytical reviews
• Conduct technical accounting research where necessary
• Monitoring the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
• E-Invoice, E-Archive and E-Ledger practices
• Assists in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs in areas of specialization
• Project work
