Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a "Cloud Engineer" for one of our global business partners, which is one of the world’s largest independent commodities trading houses by turnover, creating logistics solutions that safely and efficiently move physical energy from where it is sourced and stored to where it is demanded most.

Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing, troubleshooting, licensing, and updating the Azure & M365 cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS
• Maintain and develop Conditional Access policies
• Troubleshoot identity and access issues
• Maintain Azure policies
• Monitor and manage Azure resource usage and cost
• Set up and manage Azure resource monitoring
• Automate Azure resource creation
• Develop and maintain documentation of Azure infrastructure
• Set up and manage Azure resource backup
• Create Azure Functions for automation
• Recommends / Establishes policies on system use and services
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
• Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
• Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure
• Escalate problems to management, if necessary
• Collaborate with Global IT
• Respond to alerts from monitoring system and from 1st level support
• Ensure that systems are managed per established SLA (Service Level Agreement)

Qualification

• Higher education in IT or related field (University degree) or currently studying
• Experience in both managing the Microsoft Azure and M365 platforms
• Knowledge and experience managing Azure AD
• Experience in working with different infrastructure projects
• Good PowerShell scripting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to lead smaller projects
• Analytical skill to improve different processes
• Ability to manage time and priorities
• Self-motivation to improve and learn new skills
• You value teamwork and have customer-oriented view
• Microsoft certification or willing to pass the exam in probationary period
