Wyser is the international company within Gi Group in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.
We are looking for an "IT Support & Operation Engineer'' for our global client which provides technology solutions in manufacturing industry more than 30 years.
Task & Duties:
•Understand how information systems (HW, SW) are used,
•Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests (tickets in OTRS Ticket Tool),
•Troubleshooting problems, to either solve directly or refer them to 3rd parties,
•Talking IT users (customers) through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over Skype & Teamviewer, to help set up systems or resolve issues; explain a technical problem in plain words,
•Installing or assisting with configuration of computer hardware, software and peripheral items,
•Setting up accounts, manage access rights, help with password resets,
•Replacing equipment as necessary,
•Testing and evaluating new technology,
•Monitoring and managing alert and healthstate messages of our systems,
•Monitoring and maintaining EDI systems and networks,
•Manage HW inventory,
•Write user manuals and system documentation.
•Work continuously on a task until timely completion (or manage referral to third parties),
•Manage many open cases at the same time,
•Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and suppliers,
•Follow established processes and decisions,
•Escalation to team lead in time, if necessary.
