SQL Server DBA

Job Description:

Wyser is an international search & selection company present in 3-continents.

We are looking for a ‘Microsoft SQL Server DBA/Developer’ for one of our global business partners which is one of the world’s largest independent commodities trading houses by turnover, creating logistics solutions that safely and efficiently move physical energy from where it is sourced and stored to where it is demanded most.

Responsibilities

· Administration :

Monitor the production databases clusters in order to identify bottlenecks, perform maintenance operations, and optimize inefficient queries.

· Development :

Work closely with the development team to provide development environments, take part in the development process by reviewing queries in order to validate code prior to release to production, and promote coding best practices.

· Projects :

Take part in different projects like the setup of a new data warehouse, Master Data Management and server consolidation.

· Azure :

Take part to the assessment and migration of on-premises servers, develop Azure data factory and take part of Azure data platform administration.

Qualification

· 6 years+ of SQL Server DBA experience.

· Knowledge on SQL Always on / windows clustering.

· Deep knowledge in T-SQL coding and query fine-tuning.

· Server and database optimization.

· Hands-on experience with database monitoring and maintenance operations.

· Good level of English, written and spoken.

· Highly motivated and committed team player with strong sense of autonomy.

· Databases assessment and migration to Azure.
