R&D MANAGER

Job Description:

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for a R&D Manager for our client in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, who manufactures various chemical products, located in Osmaniye.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from universities, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry,

• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the cleaning or cosmetics industry,

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and documentation processes,

• Experience in product and packaging development processes,

• Fluent in English,

• Strong team management, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the improvement of existing products and the development of new products; managing and guiding the R&D team accordingly,

• Conducting research on new raw materials and packaging; evaluating analysis results and reviewing and approving new supplier proposals,

• Researching new production and process technologies and carrying out product, formulation, packaging and process development activities,

• Analyzing the chemical, biochemical, and physicochemical properties of raw materials used in product formulations; collaborating with the Marketing Department on product claims,

• Researching techniques and technologies to optimize product costs while improving quality, standards and performance,

• Monitoring domestic and international R&D support and incentive programs and managing application and coordination processes,

• Preparing for audits conducted within the scope of R&D Center regulations and preparing required presentations,

• Participating in conferences and scientific events and presenting papers to ensure the sustainability of R&D Center status,

• Reviewing and approving raw material, packaging and product formulations and specifications,

• Managing processes to benefit from Turkish Republic and European Union incentives within the scope of R&D projects,

• Reviewing and approving legally required periodic inspection and audit reports obtained from external service providers.
