Accounting Specialist

Job Description:

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist with the following qualifications for our business partner operating in the mining sector:

Job Description

-         Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors. Prepare and send invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.

-         Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries as needed.

-         Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

-         Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting principles and regulations.

-         Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

-         Prepare tax declarations

-         Execute E-ledger submission

-         Managing all accounting processes

-         Coordinate and support internal/external audits

-         Assist with preparation of month/year-end closings, financial statements, financial reports and supporting analyses (both defined and ad hoc), along with meaningful commentary to explain results to various levels within the organization

Qualifications

-         Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

-         Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.

-         Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting and Finance

-         Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

-         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-         Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

-         Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (e.g., GAAP).

-         CPA certified preferred(or internship)

-         Familiar with the ERP systems

-         Excellent command of verbal and written English is a must

-         Knowledge of cost accounting is preferred
