We are looking for a People&Culture Manager for our global company who is operating in retail industry

Overall Objectives

  • Responsible for implementation and management of HR objectives and standards in company
  • Develop, implement and coordinate all HR (recruitment/introduction/training and development/appraisals/career planning) and relevant educational programs in line with Global HR standards and objectives, as well as local regulations.
  • Provide proactive involvement in business “change” programs
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises to assess competitiveness of current compensation and benefits package at Turkey
  • Manage overall SAP HR system for the country
  • Implement adequate control mechanisms in the assigned HR portfolio in line with Company’s Audit and Compliance requirements
  • Responsible for the compliance of company’s Code of Conduct
  • Ensure alignment of all HR activities undertaken in the Turkey
  • Manage effective employee relations service for all departments and provide superlative service level to all departments in Turkey
  • Ensuring that staff headcount and turnover levels in Turkey is in accordance with HR Business plan and organisational objectives
  • Development of a professional Human Resources department with strong Employee Relations provision
  • Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance

Key Reponsibilities

  • Review and analyse HR issues of the assigned portfolio according to manpower budget, business strategy, and operating needs, so as to provide advisory support and recommend HR solutions to the business management team
  • Drawing up employment agreements as well as other formal related matters
  • Responsible to facilitate recruitment of all staff in Turkey
  • Responsible for induction of all new staff within Turkey
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises to assess best practice and align regional compensation and benefits where appropriate/possible
  • Ensure that all Turkey staff have updated job descriptions and organisational charts at all times
  • Identify, interpret and apply key performance indicators
  • Facilitate timely and accurate payroll
  • Roll out updates on staff movements and recruitment
  • Facilitate employee engagement events, including Staff Events and company Values workshops as per annual HR Business Plan
  • Provide administrative support to Head of HR MEA
  • Compile and update employee/personnel records


  • Manage the annual performance reviews, performance management, training and development for direct reports
  • Ensure the annual HR Cycle is implemented within the HR Function of company MEA
  • Develop talents and ensure successor planning for key positions within HR
  • Lead by example in all areas, ensuring that all key business issues are tackled constantly
  • Responsible for recruitment, induction and performance management of all trainees in Turkey
