Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.
We are looking for an Accounting and Finance Manager with the following qualifications for our global start up business partner:
Responsibilities
- Managing daily accounting tasks (invoice entries, account payables/receivables) accurately and efficiently.
- Overseeing general accounting processes and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Preparing and reporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handling cash flow, budget management, and financial analysis processes.
- Ensuring timely submission of tax declarations and other financial obligations.
- Adapting to the start-up culture with flexible and solution-oriented approaches.
- Cooperation with Headquarters with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process
- Organizing and coordinating the finance department, including cooperation with external accounting services providers.
- Assuring timely reporting
- Act as liaison between Benefit Systems and Controlling, Accounting and Compliance departments at the company HQ in Poland.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data by local and group requirements.
- Proactively improves the control environment.
- Propose and improve operations efficiency with KPIs, analysing change and advising accordingly.
- Conduct regular reviews of operating costs and propose optimisation.
- Coordinating cross-department project teams is responsible for company-wide processes.
- Securing move and active cross-department cooperation
- Responsibility for cash management and cash collection activities and procedures
- Actively participating in the budgeting process
- Responsibility for budget includes budget realisation in the actual reporting.
Qualifications
- University Degree
- Good knowledge of accounting
- Three (3) years of experience in a recognised multinational company
- Analytical skills
- Good level of English
- Good knowledge of Excel (Crucial for the positions)
- Good knowledge of local taxes
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong understanding and ability to create and analyze financial statements.
- Proficiency in ERP or accounting software (preferably [software name, e.g., SAP, QuickBooks]).
- Knowledge of Turkish Commercial Law, Tax Laws, and other relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience in budget planning and cash flow management.
- A proactive approach to innovation and process improvement.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a start-up culture and adapt to a dynamic working environment.
- ACCA and CMA certification would be beneficial
- Experience in team management (Small team management as FS will be directly reporting to FM)
- Good knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
