We are looking for a 'Commercial Controlling Finance Manager' to our business partner in FMCG industry, located in İstanbul (Anatolian Side)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive models for Trade Spend, including both contractual and non-contractual expenses, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis of spending across customers, channels, regions, and product categories.
- Lead the calculation of month-end trade spend commitments for third-party customers, ensuring accurate accruals for group reporting and delivering actionable insights to senior commercial teams.
- Monitor and evaluate marketing expenditures against the allocated budget on a monthly basis, collaborating with the marketing team to review and optimize commitments.
- Direct the preparation of standardized and ad-hoc reports for Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Development, and Commercial Management teams, ensuring the delivery of insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Manage sales forecasting and budgeting processes, consolidating customer, brand, and channel data with the use of advanced models and templates to guide strategic planning.
- Oversee profitability analyses for new SKUs and key account listings, providing recommendations to maximize business impact.
- Act as a key contributor to negotiations with major accounts, supporting strategic scenarios and driving alignment with commercial objectives.
- Take a leadership role in cross-functional Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives, ensuring the successful implementation of the RGM agenda and driving revenue optimization.
- Spearhead the development and enhancement of BI reporting, leveraging data from tools such as Sales Force Automation and B2B systems to present insights via dashboards, charts, and other data visualization tools.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance by implementing and monitoring procedures, including sales and marketing audits to uphold operational integrity.
- Drive or lead strategic projects for new business initiatives within the commercial domain, fostering innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong background in commercial or business controlling, and substantial exposure to business operations and strategy.
- Proven experience in the FMCG sector, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced certifications (e.g., CMA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Expertise in SAP and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools is preferred.
- A strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to build processes, analyze complex data, and deliver actionable insights.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with a results-oriented and adaptive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, manage cross-functional projects, and influence stakeholders.
