Import Supervisor

Job Description:

Wyser is an international executive search and selection company within Gi Group Holding, specializing in middle and senior management recruitment. 

We are currently seeking an “Import Supervisor” for one of our global client located in Kozyatağı/ İstanbul. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, International Trade, Industrial Engineering or a related field,

• Minimum 4 years of experience in import operations or foreign trade,

• Experience in the food, dietary supplement or pharmaceutical industries,

• Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures and foreign trade operations,

• Good command of English, both written and spoken,

• Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with Logo ERP is preferred,

• Strong follow-up, planning and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

• Manage import operations end-to-end, from order placement to the receipt of goods at the warehouse,

• Coordinate with international suppliers and follow up on orders, shipments, and delivery schedules,

• Collaborate with customs brokers and logistics service providers to ensure import processes are completed on time and in compliance with regulations,

• Review import documentation and ensure that all required official procedures are carried out accurately and completely,

• Monitor and manage processes related to relevant official institutions, such as the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Health,

• Analyze transportation, customs clearance and import-related costs and develop improvement opportunities,

• Work in coordination with supply planning teams to support optimal stock levels,

• Monitor, report on and develop improvement actions for import performance indicators.
